About Dr. Christelle Ziebel

For nearly twenty years as a psychologist and doctor in psychology, I’ve dedicated my work to understanding how people function — with their drives, vulnerabilities, and often hidden resources. Over time, I’ve refined my practice to offer support that is precise, effective, and deeply human.

Today, I accompany individuals, professionals, and organizations through consultations and training.

 

From Research to Practice

After my psychology degree, I completed a doctorate on risk‑taking behaviors in young drivers. I explored what makes us vulnerable and what protects us. I discovered that protective factors are not simply the opposite of risk factors; they follow their own logic. This nuance — that fewer vulnerabilities do not automatically mean more resources — is central to my practice.

How I Work

 

Over the years, I have trained in several therapeutic approaches. Each one added a piece to the puzzle and helped me better understand how events, relationships, and environments shape our lives. These learnings now guide the tailored support I offer, adapted to each person.

My approach is both comprehensive and respectful: it considers your history, values, relationships, and daily challenges, while adapting to your rhythm and aspirations. There is no universal recipe; we build together what truly fits you.

 

Therapeutic Foundations

 

My main therapeutic foundations are Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also draw on systemic approaches, stress and trauma psychology, and other methods that deepen my understanding of human experience.

Today, my work is oriented toward helping you develop your own resources — including those you may not yet know you have.
